Nothing Is Impossible in 2026

If You’re Motivated - The World Awaits You!

Last Friday, ALMS welcomed seven motivated young men to the ALMS Clubhouse, where they embarked on a unique program that has the potential to transform their futures.

Following a visit to Clark Pacific (a leading manufacturer of prefabricated building systems located in Yolo County) with the Woodland Chamber of Commerce last January, ALMS reached out to Clark Pacific’s representative to explore how we could help soon-to-be graduates connect with job opportunities during their hiring period.

Collaborating with Clark Pacific’s Human Resources team, ALMS developed a creative strategy to engage students interested in the construction industry—especially those who typically have to wait after graduation for work to begin. Since Clark Pacific was gearing up for a major project with interviews wrapping up in March, ALMS partnered with WJUSD to identify students who: 1) plan to graduate at the end of the school year, 2) possess the necessary identification for employment, such as a California driver’s license, and 3) are dismissed from school by 1:00 PM, making them available for afternoon work shifts.

The students arrived, parked, and stepped inside the clubhouse to learn about an exciting pathway that awaited them upon completion of the ALMS Trust Series—a rigorous two-week training designed to build character and workplace competency. The Trust Series equips young adults with essential soft skills, including critical thinking and effective communication. Over the past three years, the program has achieved a 97% perfect attendance rate and a 100% completion rate.

This initiative will also allow participants to meet Clark Pacific staff, who will serve as mentors for a day or two, sharing firsthand job experiences and practical insights. Each student will be thoroughly screened and granted an interview opportunity. I’m confident these young men will secure positions paying a living wage and will soon join the union. Let’s wish them the best as ALMS stands by its motto for 2026: Nothing is Impossible.
